But a little contempt should be saved for the way Emerson then led the rest of Juve over to the corner flag and proceeded to jump up and down as if he'd scored something the equal of Carlos Alberto's fourth in the 1970 final.

Poor bastard. I read he had had an amazing match up until that point too. He no doubt went to ground like that to waste a few seconds and paid the price.
