  • We turned it off again as they were spamming old threads but should it get worse we will turn it back on. :)

  • Why would someone spam our blog? Are they trying to crash the site, i.e. denial of service attack? Glad you guys are tech savy

  • Rich, this is probably a terribly stupid question, but how did you know we were under attack?

    Were there posts that you've since eliminated?

  • Basically we get hit by a load of anonymous posts with links to casino sites, etc.

    The downside of being listed on google etc. is that 'bots' can find us and automatically spam us. If it happnes a lot, we'll be forced to turn word varification back on.
