EPL Predictions
So, it's that time of the year again...predictions for the EPL season!!!
As you can see, this fine representation to the left is of Patrick Devitt laying down the green for Arsenal - and it all starts early on Sunday for the Gunners. (please note that the dice in his closed right fist are most likely "loaded")
First, though, ESPN reported during the Beckham-cam laced MLS match last night that USA star-in-the-making Feilhaber got his work permit to play for Derby...and pronounced it as derby, vice the correct "darby." Pathetic, but expected.
So, with that, I will give you the first round of picks for the final table of the 2007-08 campaign. Go Sky Blues!!!

Interesting that I'm the United fan on here and I am the only one of the 4 so far that hasn't picked them to win.
I don't think we will have the same hunger as last year and we also had great luck with injuries before xmas which helped get a step ahead of Chelsea. I also don't see Cech missing as many games and I think they have better cover for Terry and Carvalho this year. We have a lot of new players too and will take time to settle.
Hope I'm wrong though. Its just a sneaking feeling I have.

You are brave George - Spurs second.. Reading that high... Not a prayer in either case.
John, you were this close to seeing a UNITED IN CRISIS post but i held off :)
To be fair you played well but Reading did what all the big clubs fear, played effectively (and fortunately) for the 0-0. I hate it when teams do it to us - case in point our next game is Blackburn away.
This does put you all under some early pressure - Pompey away and Man City at home (who looked very good Saturday) leaves you needing 2 tough wins.
The Prem is tougher this year than ever before - several midtable sides have now huge improved squads, Pompey, Man City, Spuds, Newcastle. Fulham yesterday looked very bright too.
I dont see 90 points winning it this year - more like 82.

It looks like the rest of the league has caught the 'big 4' up? Perhaps a false dawn for spuds: Citeh and Newcastle seem the most improved (after a whopping 2 whole games)

Spuds dont have the mental ability to do a lot in this league and will over rotate and upset players. THeir top 4 place is severely in doubt. UNited off to a real shocker too - ROoney and Ronaldo missing - 2 draws...
Liverpool have a massive test this Sunday - and Ian - you have Spurs both 4th and 5th, i know they signed a lot of players but come on...

haha Tottenham and Spurs. I supposed 4 and 5 = 9 so Ian might be right after all.
